About CalebStrong.org and The Strong Foundation

Caleb Strong started as a group that was created to spiritually feed the men in our community who desired to go beyond a Sunday gathering. We began by studying the Bible for examples of authentic masculinity with special attention to the life of Caleb (Numbers 13:1-14:38 and Joshua 14:6-12).

Caleb was not a king, or even a prophet. He was a simple man whose actions showed an entire nation how to live a life of powerful faith. The name Caleb Strong signifies the commitment of each man to continue to grow in Christ and live out their lives with strength of character and faith.

Our discovery of Biblical Identity, both for men and women, prompts us to engage in the great commission.

I am called to serve families that need to grow in Christ’s leadership. We need to prepare disciples, who are then ready to prepare disciples through the teaching and modeling the words and deeds of Jesus. This MUST first take place within our families. I am committed to this calling in the following areas.

There is a need for CalebStrong.org (CS) curriculum.

Manhood is in a state of crisis and has been for some time. Men are struggling with purity, accountability, authority, provision and many other areas that all speak to a loss of identity and definition. What does an honorable and authentic man look like?

The Mission for CalebStrong.org is to “Help Men of every age, discover the Biblical definition of Manhood, and define appropriate levels of Responsibility, Authority, and Leadership.”

There is a need for EstherStrong.org (ES) curriculum.

Honest women have confessed that women also struggle in the same ways that men do. Scripture also has examples of women who have struggled with leadership, provision and purity as much as men. What is the Biblical model for women?

The Mission for EstherStrong.org is to “Help Women of every age, discover the Biblical definition of Womanhood, and define appropriate levels of Responsibility, Authority, and Leadership.”

Both CalebStrong and EstherStrong need to fall under one family focused umbrella. The working label is currently for this non-profit organization is The Strong Foundation (word-play intended).

TheStrongFoundation.Org or TSF, will combine the two curriculum ideas above into one parent organization. The overall focus for TSF is the strengthening of our identity in Christ, starting within the family.

The Mission of TheStrongFoundation.org is to “Build Strength of Character, at every age (children through adulthood), through the discovery of Biblical Identity, to prepare individuals and families for Active Engagement in our immediate Areas of Influence, with appropriate levels of Responsibility, Authority, and Leadership in order to Strengthen our Families, Communities and beyond, as Servant Leaders

We must begin to affect change where we have been granted influence.

Within our current communities, we already have opportunities to be Servant Leaders and to disciple men, women and families. Get more involved with your communities and you will begin to see opportunities to serve others.

“People don’t care what you know, until they know that you care.”

You can read more about the philosophy behind these statements on the Mission and Vision page.

I’ve had experience in the business and technology worlds, and I’ve held volunteer positions in the ministry and non-profit arenas, but I do not possess a degree or theological certification. I am not ordained in anyway. I do this because God has placed an urging on me to prepare parents and young, future leaders who would also train-up young men and women.

I have learned from both scripture and my own experiences, that sometimes The Father doesn’t prepare us for the ministry to which we are called. He calls us to the ministry that he intends to prepare us.

If you feel drawn to this mission, I would love your company on this journey. With prayer filled consideration, please contact us on the Contact Us page. And please pray for us as we re-launch from our roots as CalebStrong.org into what is to become TheStrongFoundation.org.

*Be Strong*

May Jesus have His way with your day.
