Life is about CHOICE – Part 1

I was sharing with friends about the challenges of their (and my own) life and I noticed that God has gifted me with one primary thought, one Theme if you will.

The Theme du Jour is……………….. CHOICE

You will see it as a major theme in many of my posts. In fact I have dedicated a “Category” to CHOICE.

We are all gifted with the freedom to choose. God has given us free-will and it is exercised everyday when we choose to get up, choose our clothes to wear, and choose our breakfast cereal.
Let us take a step forward and figure out how this applies to YOU right NOW.

The Universe has a way to keep you in check.

I don’t know if my mind is shaping my Universe or if my Universe is shaping my mind. This has always been a source of debate amongst philosopher’s and theologians alike.

Case in point: The Power of Prayer.

I had a very challenging event one week last year.

After watching a movie Sunday night, a Family member was wracked by severe pains. (9 out of 10 on the pain chart) This was so bad that any communication aside from tears was unlikely.

I insisted on an ER visit and for once she listened. We were on our way within a few minutes.

Are you a Farmer or a Fisherman?

Current mood:  calm

In the lean times of  economic turmoil, it is very important to sit an meditate (think or analyze) on the place we are and what role we play. With out the constant validation of success or “at-a-boy”(or girl) we tend to lose hope, focus and the will to keep trying. I went through this a LOT last year as my business had failed and I was looking for a new path.

I am doing much better today. The proper application of sleep, meditation and introspection helps incredibly.

One Angel to Another

Current mood: lonely

I originally published this about a year ago. I wrote this for one angel in particular but then edited it for all of my angels that had shared their hearts with us that year.  I will always have a special place for those angels. You will always be my family.

As a quick aside. I am getting married tomorrow. This is my second marriage but she was one of my first loves. It is interesting how our path always goes back to where we started.
