Let us not neglect meeting

Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another,

…especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

As believers, we are called to lead our families, our communities and our work places. We are called to encourage and teach others. We should make the world better than we found it. But, how do we know what that looks like? Maybe some of us do have a vision for what that looks like. Some inherently know what it means to lead others. But how do we maintain our vision, our drive and our focus on the right kinds of success?

How do we maintain our vision, our drive and our focus on the right kinds of success?

The Bible, encourages believers to gather often (Heb 10:25). Why should we gather in these “packs” of believers?  We come together to learn, encourage, strengthen and support one another. And, we gather to keep focus on God’s purpose and plan. We learn how to follow the leadership given to us by the spirit and the example of Jesus. Additionally, we talk to each other because there are examples of authentic leadership and real success in our circles and communities.  (Prov 11:14; Prov 15:22 Prov 19:20; Prov 27:17)

We are starting a new season with  “The Case For Christ”

If you are in the Plymouth MN area, we are starting a new season for our men’s group. This season we will be starting with  “The Case For Christ”.  It is a discussion about the reasons we have for placing our faith in the knowable person of Jesus Christ.  Please join us Thursday or Saturday mornings. Contact me for details and I will make sure there is enough coffee to go around. If you want to start a new group on another day or time, contact me, or leave a comment below.

The Take Away:

Even as the new school year starts, let’s not forget to set aside time to gather together. Let us continue to build each other up and point to the word of God as our foundation for wisdom and to the person of Jesus Christ as our model of the Authentic Leader.

Thanks for reading, I hope to see you there.

May Jesus have His way with your day
