My end of year thoughts on New Year’s Eve…

I am very blessed. I have been blessed with a wife who believes in me and encourages me. I am blessed with an amazing young man whose heart fire the things of God motivate me to be better every day. I am blessed with an opportunity to serve Christ at home, in my work and in my service. Best of all, I am blessed with an unshakable faith.

The only difference between me and thee, is that I accepted the free gift of salvation from Christ Jesus AND SUBMITTED to His will.

You have heard it from your pastor. Speakers like Robert Lewis and even Tony Robbins talk about building a support team or being in a small group. I will say it again.. though with many, many more words, because I like (the sound of my own voice) to prattle on..

I like the “Can you hear me” …. It really encourages him to listen to her and drives her point home. My grandfather used to whisper when he really wanted to be sure you heard him. The logic was that you would HAVE TO pay attention in order to hear him… much like the “Can you hear me” question.
